she was there she had hair

i tried to dispatch uncle freddie:  "sam you moron, this is my day by the swimmy pool" in his manic droll, "and besides, i've scheduled extra naps". the silence of his hanging up on me was typical. i can't think of a phone call from uncle freddie where he ever said goodbye.

left to interview the large humped, ruminant quadruped dromedary myself  i was on a tight timeframe.  little remained for me but the simple question.  it begged to be asked of it's own.  the whole world wanted to know:  "why did you eat the lady's hair?"
he never did answer the reporter's question, but my interrogation techniques are better than the U.S. military on a waterboard bender.

he said, "she was there. she had hair. i couldn't resist."

  1. HAHAHAHAHA!!! He had that ferret look of innocence as he did it too...I can't help but suspect that you've had contact with this camel before, Sam...

  3. Hi Sammy. I commented a couple of days ago, but it's not showing. This happened with a couple of other blogs, too, because my computer has a mind of its own, much like ferrets and camels.

This is too funny. Reminds me of a horse I once had who would nibble, but the horse knew he wasn't supposed to. He would sneak up, nibble and run. Thanks for your post.

  4. BlogSpot owned by almighty God... eeerrr, i mean gOOgle ... was having a problem, Cristine and Karla. One would post a comment, and the comment would go missing!!! imagine the chagrin ~ the outrage ~ the wasted time and agony experienced by the inner narcissist in all of us, especially Christine... she being a recovering narcissist and all?... alas, the posts are here, and in Christine's case, they are in stereo.

what happened to the missing comments? they mysteriously appeared one day. BlogSpot had memos, alerts, little pop up windows saying things like: Your Comments are not lost. We know that your comments are important to you. Without your comments why are you bothering to write? We know this. calm down, we are working on it.

so spotty was blogspots reputation, they have offered everyone a refund... no wait, that can't be right? the darn thing is free...

reminds me that many is the time I have taken out of my day to leave a comment on someone's blog... the "moderated" blogs are the worst. "This Blog is devoted to Open Discussion and Open thought, Free Thinking and Your Comments are Welcome" Watch OUT FOLKS!!! This is a sure fire sign that your comment will never see the light of day!! If you leave even a slightly disagreeable view point, or anything that remotely resembles "Open Discussion" or independent thinking? Your comment will NEVER be approved. And if it is mistakenly approved, some other moderator will come along and delete it later. So beware of any blog that promotes itself as OPEN DISCUSSION because any blog that is truly believing in Free Speech doesn't have to say it is, it just is. Those who say they promote open thought, are generally more closed minded than a disgruntled old man in his rocking chair.

Now, a tip on Commenting. Most comments appear in Search Engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing. "Why should this matter, Sam?" Because your comment is advertising silly. If you do it right, others will agree ( or disagree ) and follow you. SO ALWAYS PUT YOUR TWITTER HANDLE WITHIN THE BODY OF YOUR COMMENT. maybe some of you wonder why i do that?

Why do i put that in all of my comments? Well it will go into the Internet Permanently. I've seen my comments appear and get more traction when I comment on articles at the WSJ NYTimes, ESPN, and many well read sites. Now it helps if you are one of the first to comment.

Another good reason. You get followers organically. Meaning they follow you b c they want to, not because you followed them.

Thanks for taking the time to comment, I read each one of your comments. Being a ferret who'd rather lounge by the swimmy pool with my twin masseuses, I don't get a chance to comment back like you do on your blogs. But keep coming back, I'll try to entertain you with short, meaningless drivel as often as I can.

Ah say, ah say, that critter got more game than an analogy on steroids.

  5. Sam your tantalizingly intriguing brilliance is most evident when you drop gems like this. You're a networking genius and an expert human trainer. I learned something new today and will apply it immediately.

    @JadeTygress

    P.S. Cute.

  6. Now I know why I always preferred short hair. :D

And yes, even a dyed in the roots sociomediapath can learn from a ferret.
